Happy New Year! and New Catalogues.

Hi everyone 
I hope you have had a lovely Christmas or Winter Holiday. I have so much crafty news for the New Year. But first an apology for my absence. I picked up a head cold at the end of November, I also have a collection of Autoimmune disorders, so that, with a cold, wiped me out. I am now fit and ready for the New Year. 

On the 3rd January the new Spring Summer catalogue goes live. It is packed with lots of lovely new products for the season ahead. I will go into more detail over the coming days. But that is not all! Also on the 3rd January our Sale-A-Bration mini catalogue goes live. This give us extra perks and free stuff when we shop, host a workshop or join. I will have a more detailed blog post on the 3rd of January. I am also having and a catalogue walk through  Facebook live at, 4pm GMT, over on my business page. click here to join in.  This promotion runs until the 31st of March but stocks are limited, so get in quick. 

I am also happy to announce I will be starting workshops. They will be available both online or in person, for both options I will send you pre-made kits so all the the scoring and cutting is done for you. The only thing I can not send is stamped images, each work shop is based on one stamp set or bundle and I will have a number of product purchase options available. Keep an eye out for the blog post.    

Last but not least I would like to thank you all for your support and custom in 2018. I still have a lot to learn about blogging and YouTube but I hope you will continue to follow my journey in 2019. Happy New Year!

Stampin' Up! Dashing Deer bundle with festive sparkle.

Today I am bring you the last of my Christmas cards! This means that the Autumn Winter Catalogue will be leaving us soon! But the good news is that some of the products are now discounted and some will carry over. Today's card is using the on-trend colours of pink, gray and copper, the copper is glimmer paper, we all need a bit of sparkle this time of year, I have really enjoyed this colour combination, which is odd as I am not a pink girl, but I love it! I am taking a break, from tutorials, over Christmas, I will be back with the new products from the spring summer catalogue and sale-a-bration freebies on 3rd January. I will share more about this later in the week.

STAMPIN' UP! HAUL!!! new Occasions and Sale-a-brations catalogue

As 2018 comes to a close its time for out with the old and in with the new! on the 3rd of January the new Occasions and Sale-a-bration Catalogues are coming!

As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator I get to order early. This gives me time to play with the products read to share them with you. I can not show you the inside of the catalogues. But i can show you what I have and tell you all about them!

The Occasions Catalogue runs from the 3rd of January to the 3rd of June. Its pack with everything you need for the coming spring, but don't forget, we also have the Annual Catalogue.
The Sale-a-bration catalogue runs from the 3rd January to 31st March. But you can not buy these products, you earn them for free! Yes, for every 45 pound spent you get to choose an item for free and who doesn't like free stuff?

Dashing Deer card number two.

Hi and welcome to my blog.

Today's card is this stunning " Many Merry Thanks" card.

I have  made this card for the restaurant my son, husband and I are going to, with my parents, for Christmas Dinner. We have been for the last two years and the food and atmosphere is lovely. They all work really hard, to make it special, so I thought it would be nice to say thank you.

This card real mix of metallic's and texture. I have use the gold-foil edged card bases, The Broadway Bound designer series paper,  Dashing Deer Stamp Set, Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies, Black Organdy Ribbon, Galvanised Metallic Paper and the Everyday Label Punch and the Metallic Pearls that come in gold and silver.

The card base is 4 1/4" by 5 1/2" so I needed a mat that is 3 3/4" by 4 3/4". I added the ribbon to the designer series paper (DSP) by wrapping it around with enough ribbon to secure it at the back, then made the bow and popped it on with a mini glue dot. I stamped the greeting and punched it out and cut the prancing deer from the galvanised metallic paper. This paper is a silver tone but mat instead of shiny.

I then added the greeting and Deer with some Dimensionals and finished it off with the gold and silver metallic pearls.

The card for today is a little bit of fairy dust and magic, or to give them their proper names ; silver embossing powder and heat gun. The other equipment you will need is an embossing buddy and the silver foil-edged cards and envelopes .
